This technique I use every day when talking with people at enterprises and listening to their stories.The next step is to go beyond listening and to understand the core of the story or in my professional work, the core of the challenge an enterprise needs help for.When you have truly understood the core of a story, you can develop the story further, and still stick to the core of its purpose or message. This part I love because this demands everything from me in terms of being creative, combining all my knowledge and insight to add more layers to the picture and to extend it in any direction needed. These days, I find that many stories have the opportunity to be enriched by adding dimensions of new ways the players effortlessly experience the story, adding new smart “helpers” that bring new super powers to the game, like artificial intelligence, robotics and digitalization.
