• While serving as the Lead Cloud Network Security Administrator at Çiçeksepeti, I undertook the responsibility of improving and managing the existing system and network infrastructure. This encompassed the management of network security products such as IPS, WAF, DDOS, Bot Mitigation, and Load Balancer, including the development and implementation of rules. Simultaneously, I oversaw and ensured the efficient execution of tasks and projects by my team members, contributing to enhanced overall productivity.• The transition from Akamai to Cloudflare was a critical project, offering substantial cost savings to the company. Working actively with my team, we successfully completed the migration of the entire Çiçeksepeti domain, including all necessary tests, in a remarkably short timeframe of just two months. During this process, we meticulously tested and migrated all policies for DNS, WAF, Bot Mitigation, and DDoS network security products from Akamai to Cloudflare. Notably, we crafted more granular configurations when transitioning Bot Mitigation and WAF profiles to Cloudflare, ensuring enhanced security measures.• Additionally, we successfully executed the migration of our systems and network from AWS Cloud to Google Cloud. I actively participated in the technical aspects of both the project's design and its implementation. While the previous AWS network lacked segmentation, we meticulously segmented the networks on the Google Cloud side. Moreover, we employed Palo Alto Firewall to enforce this segmentation. As GCP provided the capability, we diligently worked on segmenting each VPC through Palo Alto. In the Çiçeksepeti microservices architecture, we established separate VPCs for each service and utilized secure tunnels, including DDOS and IPS profiles, for direct access to Akamai.

• Serving as a network and system administrator, my primary objective was to fortify and enhance our organization's IT ecosystem. I devoted meticulous attention to amplifying the robustness of our Internet and VPN connections, ensuring seamless operation across central and branch offices. This encompassed a proficient installation and maintenance of Firewall, Router, Switch, AP & WLC systems, bolstering our security posture significantly.• A key facet of my role was ensuring the stability and optimization of our server and storage infrastructure, a task I approached with diligence and expertise. Within this domain, I proficiently managed critical systems such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, GPM, File Server, IIS, MS SQL, and WSUS, thus contributing to the efficiency of our operations.• Central to my role was the proficient management of CicekSepeti's entire server infrastructure and architecture within Amazon AWS. As an e-commerce platform, our goal was to deliver uninterrupted services to our customers, and Amazon AWS played a pivotal role in achieving this objective. The scalability and reliability of Amazon AWS, coupled with essential services like EC2, VPC, and S3, were integral in our architectural design. These elements were strategically aligned to ensure high availability, enabling us to adapt to varying demands while meticulously managing resources and budgets. Innovatively exploring cost-saving strategies and deftly navigating autoscaling, monitoring, and load balancing needs were regular practices, further enhancing our operational efficiency. This architectural approach epitomized our commitment to providing a seamless and reliable experience for our users.• In addition to infrastructure management, I championed a proactive approach to disaster preparedness. I meticulously designed and executed robust backup plans for servers, conducting rigorous testing to ensure our readiness for diverse disaster recovery scenarios.
