Taught English and writing courses for Adult Education students looking to complete the HiSET high-school equivalency exam.Employed culturally relevant curriculum and pedagogy while providing foundational reading comprehension and solid writing skills. Provided youth case management services in a community based setting for young people ranging in age from 6-18 struggling with mental or behavior health diagnoses with the goal of keeping young people housed in their communities.Employed a strengths based and trauma informed approach to meet their wellness needs.
