-Provide timely warning to leadership of emerging credit risks. -Create solutions for identified risks for borrowers and bank. -Prepare tab packages for loans in liquidation with SBA. -Assist special assets officer with SBA loans in liquidation to ensure the officer is adhering to SBA SOP. -Negotiate workout scenarios with bank counsel and submit proposals to the executive team. -Generate organic loan leads.-Independent decision making for modifications/re-structures. -Complete independent analysis of financial information. Including spreads, credit presentations, and presentations. -Collect financials from borrowers and guarantors, including covenant tracking and completing borrowing base.

-Monitor existing SBA loan portfolio to ensure its performance is adequate.-Process SBA loan modifications and releases according to SOP guidelines and bank credit policy.-Perform Annual Reviews to analyze the performance of loans in the portfolio.-Meet with borrowers semi-annually and annually to assess financial conditions. -Manage two SBA Portfolio Specialists: includes reviewing their Annual Reviews, Servicing Actions, Memos, and new loan requests. In addition, provide training on analysis, SOP, and serve as a mentor to unseasoned staff. -Prepare Deferment Analysis including recommendation, and documentation.-Prepare reports: Delinquency, Servicing Action tracking, Past Dues, Deferrals, and misc. reports as needed for management. -Work in conjunction with Credit, and Risk Management capturing and identifying trends and reporting performance.

-Analyze incoming financial documentation, compile relevant data into the internal system, and report performance ensuring compliance of covenant requirements.-Order appraisals to assess loan to value ratios and environmental reports to ensure compliance.-Utilize valuation software to obtain current value data to ensure proper collateralization of loans.-Communicate with commercial borrowers to obtain financials necessary for analysis. Answer questions and resolve issues as needed.-Collaborate with internal partners (underwriters, loan closers, management, and portfolio team) to relay status and updates on loans.-Negotiate requested loan documentation changes with Borrowers and/or Borrowers’ legal counsel.

• Compile necessary documents and due diligence, creating a package for submission to the SBA for review and approval• Startup a department, creating policies and procedures to provide guidance to staff. Aiding in the development of the department includes collaborating with loan documentation and servicing, and scrubbing the existing SBA loan portfolio.• Work with credit administration on loan request, determining if the request is eligible for SBA, establishing the credit and collateral quality.• Closely work with lenders, and customers through the loan process: going on calls, soliciting business, closing loans, attending marketing events to represent the bank and gain business opportunities. • Determine SBA purchase and liquidation eligibility, working with commercial loan workout officers and prepare and submit SBA Guaranty Purchase packets.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly board reports for shareholders. Collect data, verify data is correct, and create reports. Reports include graphs and appropriate footnotes. • Coordinate meetings with management and employees. Defining the agenda and preparing handout material.• Serve as liaison between executive management and other applicable parties as to prioritization of outstanding loans and miscellaneous items• Work closely with credit administration in financial monitoring, covenant tracking, loan conditions, advance requests (confirming line of credit availability)• Assist loan officers with daily activities and projects• Construction Documentation and Draw Administration• Audit internal files reviewing for accuracy, preparing reports reflecting data found and how to better processes and procedures to resolve future discrepancies. Work with federal examiners on audits and resolve any issues with future policies and futures. • Draft and prepare loan related correspondence. Including approval amendments and legal memorandums.

• Loan reporting: monthly loan balance reports, quarterly reports.• General Ledger reconciliation• Knowledgeable in SBA documenting, reporting and processing. • Review withdrawn, denied and closed loan files determining if HMDA reportable and complete necessary information. • Responsible for preparing, processing and booking consumer, commercial and mortgage loans. -Represent Bank of Birmingham at closings. • Responsible for servicing of all loans. Responsibilities include operational and administrative duties. • Adhere to bank compliance regulations, internal bank policies, and procedures. • Assist in creating and placing procedures and appropriate forms.
