My practice focuses on real estate, environmental, and energy law and involves counseling, litigation, negotiations, mediation, and transactional work. I negotiate leases and construction contracts and help clients comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding water, wetlands, endangered species, cultural resources, hazardous and solid waste, and environmental impact review. I have extensive expertise helping energy industry clients at each stage of the project life cycle, from inception to construction to operation to decommissioning. While in law school, I served as a law clerk with the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. I spent my 3L year at Harvard Law School as part of the Harvard-Berkeley Exchange Program.Before attending law school, I earned a master’s degree in watershed management from the University of Arizona, and worked as an economic and environmental consultant for 7 years.
