Hesam is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Placemaker Group and Milori Group of Companies. Hesam leads the acquisition, development, and finance department of the company. He is fuelled by the pursuit of improving the wellbeing of our communities by delivering a diverse range of housing that advances a sense of belonging and vibrancy to the community. Hesam has led the company to accrue a collection of awards and distinctions including BC’s Best Multi-Family Low-Rise Development at the 2019 Georgie Awards.Hesam proudly serves as the only representative from the development/construction sector with experience in rental, social, and affordable housing on the District of North Vancouver Rental and Affordable Housing taskforce. He champions diverse housing options including below-market rental housing and affordable home ownership models for the local workforce on the North Shore. Hesam was one of the first developers to initiate discussions around AHOP (Affordable Home Ownership Program) with BC Housing for the local workforce on the North Shore. A lover of the great outdoors, Hesam enjoys hiking the Grouse Grind at Grouse Mountain and spending time with his daughter, wife and family & friends.
