I am a coastal resilience and government affairs consultant whose clients include businesses and public entities (state and local governments). Follow me on Warwick Consultants LLC to learn how we help our clients navigate the complicated world of the Corps of Engineers and engage Congress to implement and fund coastal resilience projects. A unique sub-specialty is my understanding of the processes and policies of the US Army Corps of Engineers. I use that knowledge to help clients find solutions and push the bureaucratic envelope.Follow me on Coastal Strategies which specializes in private financing for water resource projects and facilitating collaborations among coastal cities and states within various regions of the nation so they can take charge of how they will adapt to coastal storms and flooding. I believe in an inclusive process of collaboration where all key stakeholders are part of the process from Day One. My focus is on water infrastructure including navigation, coastal storm risk management, environmental enhancement, natural and nature-based initiatives, and flood control. My Background: I was a faculty member at the high school and college levels before coming to Washington, DC to serve as a Legislative Assistant (and subsequently Legislative Director) to a United States Senator. I subsequently worked as an energy and transportation economist, testifying before Congress on fossil fuels, solar energy, maritime and aviation issues. During the latter period, I also founded and edited two newsletters: The Washington Foundation News and Tax Exempt News. I formed Marlowe & Company, which was in existence from 1984 to 2015 and then established Warwick Group Consultants in January 2015. In 2012, I founded Alden Street Consultants LLC (dba Coastal Strategies) which is a certified small business for government contracting purposes.
