I contributed to a project on preferential access areas / inshore exclusion zones by mapping industrial fishing effort within zones of interest. I also processed Global Fishing Watch effort data via Python and cloud-computing.

In this role, I supported farm operations by cleaning the farm, preparing planting trays, and harvesting and packaging microgreens. I learned a great deal about urban agriculture and the joys/challenges of small business ownership. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Piedmont Microgreens and stepped down to dedicate more time to my studies.

I assisted with the development of an open textbook for intermediate-level ecology courses. My direct supervisor was Dr. Natasha Gowarnis, but our team also included other faculty/students from Gettysburg College, Franklin & Marshall, and the University of Pittsburgh. I wrote scientist spotlight case studies highlighting diverse ecologists, and I contributed to the formatting and review of general textbook content.

As part of the Data and Devices Product Management team, I contributed to the protection of TE Connectivity's intellectual property. My primary task comprised of researching potential infringing parties and communicating my findings to legal counsel.

My position as a research assistant in the X-SIG Summer Research Program was in a behavioral aquatic toxicology lab. Under the supervision of Dr. Peter Fong, my lab mates and I worked on three summer research projects. Crayfish, freshwater and marine snails, and sea anemones were the species of study for each project.

I worked with clients to schedule classes and solve problems regarding retail purchases, as well as maintained general cleanliness of the studio.

I enforced swimmer safety rules and maintained cleanliness of pool deck. As WSCC staff, I also represented the country club through positive interactions with clients.
