Managed operations as board member for the development of a first in class long-lasting fusion inhibitor of HIV. The drug candidate is now entering phase III study in China, with promising therapeutic potential. Patent protection has been approved by 25 countries around the world.

Managed the company operation, including overseeing R/D efforts for the development of kits for early lung cancer detection and myocardial infarction.

Conducted research program on structural and functional analysis of geneticly defect on myosin, a contractile protein that generates heart muscle contraction, in cardiac muscle, known as Familiar Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. My work was supervised by Drs. Jim Sellers and Bob Adelstein. We published a research article on Nature (Genetics) identifying the functional mutation on cardiac myosin light chains from these type of patients.

As a clinical researcher, I conducted research on abnormalities and diseases related to Sleep Apnea and published a milestone paper on Chest in 1988 in Dr. Meir Kryger's laboratory, as the first to connect sleep apnea with many other disorders and provided diagnostic standards.
