1. Lead the team to source and purchase the machine tools all over the Asia, including Korea, Japan, India, Taiwan and China.2. Participate to make the annual purchasing plan and general strategy.3. Find out the potential suppliers based on the specification, drawing, standards and etc. provided by customer. Then determine the right one after vendor situation evaluation and cost comparison, and quote to customer. Then inspect the samples and send for customer’s approval.4. Define the product features, specification and quality requirements. This is the guidance for manufacturers' production and inspection process, also it's the standard for our QC team..5. Follow up the production status and quality issues, working together with factory to make sure the orders will be delivered on time, and in good condition and good quality status.6. Arrange QC before shipment release.7. Summarize and analyze the related data and documents for all suppliers using statistic tools, build up the integrated "Supplier Evaluation System" to evaluate their performance on cost down, delivery, quality, service and etc. every half month.8. Review the purchasing cost quarterly, to achieve the goal of “Cost Down" by continuous negotiating with supplier, propose value engineering plan, and sourcing more alternatives as well.9. Provide the customers with the best service on quality, technical, delivery status and etc. Also handle the customer complaints.

1. Work out the product specification and detail technical requirements, based on the draft sample and roughly product features description from US R&D Team.2. Source the suitable manufacturers for the project, evaluate their quotation and production capacity, finalize the manufacturer for the project.3. Work together with factory on product developing, including drawing making, mold building, process designing and etc.4. Work togher and monitor the factory on the production pilot stage, make sure the project goes into the mass-production stage.5. Monitor and make sure the production is on schedule.6. Evaluate the manufacturers' performance periodically.

1. Source the suppliers according to the purchase request from MC department, and product specification from Engineering Department. Mainly parts in camera: like hardwares, PCB board, injection plastics and etc.2. Evaluate the quote, sample quality and supplier's production situation of the potential suppliers, finalize the qualified supplier for the parts.3. Follow up the delivery status of the purchase orders, achieve the on-time-delivery goal at 79%.4. Keep negotiating the price with the suppliers, achieve the company's goal for "COST DOWN".5. Evaluate the perfromance of pricing, delivery, quality, service and etc. of each suppliers every half year or one year, depends on the ranking of the suppliers.6. Take the actions for the low performance suppliers, including charging penalty, looking for alternative suppliers and etc.
