Provided leadership to 100 staff and providers across 2 Rural Health Clinics (RHC), immediate care and occupational health clinic, specialty outpatient clinic, and a call center for a CMS 5-star and Top 100 Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Greensburg, IN. Member of Executive team, Capital Committee, and IT Governance and leading the Ambulatory Governance subcommittee and Provider Council.

Leading the integration of six JCAHO accredited state psychiatric hospitals with 2,200 FTEs and a combined appropriation of $164 million. Providing direct supervisory responsibilities for hospital administrators. Leading system-wide efforts for food service, lab service, staffing, and other support services and manage ongoing service level expectations and vendor relationships. Chair of the System Integration Council and responsible for system strategic plan and directing operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. Member of Governing Body for each hospital. Chair of IT Governance Board directing the implementation of Cerner clinical EMR and patient accounting system. Member of agency leadership team guiding the successful opening of the $120 million Neuro-Diagnostic Institute.

Served in planning and business development management roles within the Strategy Division of St. Vincent Health, a Central Indiana based healthcare system. Key responsibilities included directing system integration efforts across multiple service lines, facilitation and development of strategic plans, and development of business plans with key stakeholders for major equipment acquisitions, joint ventures, physician alignment and new programs. Other major projects included development of master facility plans and the development of a system-wide medical staff development plan identifying physician needs and recommendations.

Served as a consultant with Health Evolutions, an Indianapolis based healthcare consulting firm, focusing primarily on strategic planning, managed care strategies, environmental assessments, market research, and financial analysis.

Served as a Managed Care Account Executive with IU Health, a health system and academic medical center based in Indianapolis. Responsible for developing relationships, marketing services, negotiating contracts, and initiating business opportunities with various managed care organizations, employers, and internal and external customers. Managed contracts in excess of $100 million in gross patient revenue.

Responsible for developing statewide managed care strategies for HMO, POS, and PPO products. Developed and maintained provider networks through negotiating contract language and pricing methodologies. Supervised monthly capitation payments and year end physician settlements in excess of $1 million.
