Healy Hamilton is a Senior Research Associate at Sound Science at Marine Conservation Institute. She possess expertise in biodiversity, conservation issues, natural resource management, ecology, environmental science and 17 more skills. She created a wonderful PowerPoint presentation about how she she became interested in seahorses and biodiversity, how she trained for her job, about what she does and where she travels for work, her lab work, and what people can do to help preserve seahorses (don't buy seahorse tchotchki!). Her rapport with the teenagers was excellent. She made the science of her work, the DNA sequencing and analysis of seahorse populations, accessible to the students, and readily answered all their questions during the course of the seminar.
