Over the past two summers during my time at Assante Capital Management, I worked closely with a team of financial advisors and financial planners. My responsibilities included:- Assisted in preparing advisors for client meetings, including preparation of account opening documentation, product research, portfolio analytics, etc.- Maintain account lists and compile statistical information and reports- Conducting research on investment products and market trends to support the advisory team.- Preparation of client portfolio analysis using industry specific analytical tools like Morningstar (Advisor Workstation) and CapIntel- Staying updated on a wide range of investment products available in the Canadian market, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and alternative investments.- Assessing the suitability of different products based on clients' profiles and regulatory requirements.
