I was born and raised in Grant County, IN. Growing up, I remember my dad leaving early each morning for Marion High School. Each day, for 40 years, he poured everything he had into teaching kids from our county. Today, I have the opportunity to serve in a similar capacity. Though my classroom is much smaller, I have the opportunity to take the often-confusing world of personal finance and make it relevant to each person's unique situation. As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it is important to invest my time to understand what is important to you, then work closely with you, your CPA, attorney and other professionals to determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family. But the process does not end there. I partner with you throughout your life to help you keep your strategy on track. In 2011, I joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor after more than a decade of working in the graphic arts industry. I earned my bachelor's degree from Pensacola Christian College. While serving on staff at the college, I met Desirae, my wife of nearly 25 years. We have two children, Marley and Ella. In addition to my responsibilities at Edward Jones, I serve as vice-president of the Upland Town Council and on the Main St. Committee of Gas City. When I am not serving my clients or community, my joy is spending time with my girls, preferably cruising in our old station wagon and singing at the top of our lungs. My Branch Office Administrator, Erin Wolf, has seven years of experience in the financial industry and joined my team in 2019.
