I manage projects from creation to completion. This includes acquiring the project, meeting with clients, managing sub-consultants and sub-contractors, design the project, meet with county agencies, and acquire final completion of the project. Business management is also a very important portion of my job. This includes business planning, financial management, project management, marketing and public relations, and customer service.

I was in the Water Resources and Planning Division. I analyzed Kauai's water systems for adequacy of existing facilities to support developments, replace deteriorating and aging facilities, and provide long range planning of facilities to ensure a reliable future water supply. I was also the lead personnel in the Water Resources and Planning Division tasked with implementing the surveying, GIS mapping, and hydraulic modeling of Kauai’s Water Systems.

I was in charge of the design and project management of multiple subdivisions ranging from 2.77 acres – 132 acres, which included lot grading, roadway design, and utility layout. Also included in the designs were the hydrology studies, hydraulic analysis of the drainage systems, and drainage reports. I was the survey crew leader for shoreline surveys, topographic surveys, and property stakeouts. I would also complete the mapping including topographic maps, C-42’s, and shoreline survey maps.
