Executed a human resource strategy in support of the overall USCP mission and strategic direction. As the acting Deputy Chief Information Officer, United States Marshals Service (USMS), I provided leadership to 100 federal employees and more than 150 contractors. During my tenure at USMS, I provided executive leadership across the IT portfolio. Responsible for strategic planning, development, implementation and operation of programs, policies and procedures supporting the USMS mission. Served as the principal advisor on all matters involving the management, administration, direction and control of information technology programs of broad scope and complexity. I successfully demonstrated the ability to design and implement cyber security operations, highly successful risk management techniques, and policy development. By placing an emphasis on quantitative/qualitative metrics and strong project management, I was highly successful in meeting the organization’s vision, mission, and goals while also satisfying federal mandates and policies governing IT security.
