Seasonal Summer Camp Counselor, Palouse Clearwater Environmental InstituteAt the Engage Summer Camp, my team and I work with a group of 4 to 7-year-olds, overseeing around 11 children at a time. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the children, checking them in and out daily, and leading activities such as short hikes, nature-based arts and crafts, and educational sessions about local flora and fauna. We teach proper use of outdoor equipment, safe plant identification, and ethical handling of local critters.
