About Heather A.
I have a combined 13 years in the field of Mental Health Services. During this time I have worked with different referral agencies and assisted the organizations I worked with to provide evidenced based treatment methods to those who met criteria for treatment services. Having completed hundreds of screenings and assessments over the years, I have gained the knowledge and skills necessary to assist clients with placement at the appropriate level of care that they are willing to participate in. Screening/Intake, Assessment, Treatment Planning, Individual and Group Counseling, Discharge Planning, Referral, Crisis Intervention, and Follow up are important in the work I do. I am trained in EMDR therapy and will be pursuing certification. I have enjoyed working with others who share a passion for helping the individuals they meet and providing hope and interventions promoting positive change to them. I am proud to have lasting relationships with the LCDC's that I have worked with providing services to those in need.
