Onshore Oman.•Involved in Motor, Rotary Steerable (RSS) & Vortex (Motor+RSS) jobs, Geosteering for Well Placement, Under Balanced Drilling (UBD), Casing While Drilling (CWD), Exploration Production & Development wells •Completed 2 months training at Middle East & Asia Learning Center before beginning work & returned for additional training including: Surface Systems, Nuclear, Acoustics, Directional Drilling, and Resistivity. •Obtained TBOSIET, H2S, L2C1 Radiation, and Basic Fire safety certificationsRigs: Shelf Drilling Mentor, Shelf Drilling Tenacious, Nabors-986, PDO-43, PDO-59, DNO&HKN rigs

•Evaluated flare header system using ASPEN Flare Analyser in office as well as in field at a Polyethylene plant. Allowed improved safety and operability of client’s plant. Presented project to HR and management at end of internship. •Verified process safety of valves in existing chemical plants through PFDs, P&IDs, and other resources. •Attended workshops and training in field and in office pertaining to EPC work.

•Worked as a student in engineering research class and later hired for preparation and analysis of results via HPLC.•Performed experiment alone or with graduate students on biomass saccharifications under Dr. Mark Holtzapple.•Coauthored submission of “Countercurrent saccharification of lime and lime + shock pretreated corn stover - Part 1 Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology.”

•Researched oil refineries online and through financial reports. Compiled data in an excel program to format for release on company website.•Used Visual Basic to compile data into an easier format for increased efficiency while updating histories on wells, refineries, and basins across the United States and the World.•Took initiative and wrote company blog entry “Africa Needs Greater Oil Refinery Capacity” based on findings at end of internship.
