Taking the lead on Quality and compliance with a focus on Apprenticeships and AEB in addition to managing private training for SME and Large Organisations. The role involved developing procedures in line with quality and compliance standards expected by awarding bodies, key stakeholders and OFSTED.I was also involved in implementing and the ongoing management of the ISO 9001. Group sessions in a community venue are an effective means of improving digital skills whilst also increasing social connections. Group and one-to-one sessions have to be delivered at the correct pace to engage participants with the digital skills that matter to them.Including an intergenerational aspect to a digital inclusion project can serve to better engage participants. Short-term, one-to-one support to resolve specific issues is a good way of increasing inclusion for large numbers of people.Digital inclusion has the potential to prevent future isolation and loneliness.Enabling participants to practice their digital skills through group projects helps consolidate learning, while increasing confidence and improving social relationships.
