Whilst in this role, I started studying towards a New Zealand Diploma in Business via TOPNZ and completed four papers: Law, Accounting, Marketing and Business Management.I managed the day to day running of the office, supported the Senior Management Team (and became part of the SMT during the transition process, when the company was sold in November 2013), assisted with procurement for the company (working with our GM Operations) negotiating contracts and services for head office and our 16 nationwide facilities. IT support, all travel and accommodation bookings for the company, maintain the travelcard, taxi chits and rental invoices etc. Organising (and where appropriate attending) AGM’s, SGM’s, Director Meetings, annual conference's. Liaising with the share/stakeholders both external and internal. Maintenance of the Village Companies (of which there are seven), organising their AGM’s, audit reports, legals, certifications etc.One of my key achievements was being part of the creating the company in 2007. I was one of the original employees, assisting in the administration and set up of processes that moved the organisation from 4 staff to over 850.
