Wells Manager
CurrentWells Manager for Subsurface Technology team handling all internal and external subsurface related projects at AP, primarily focused on CCUS as operator and owner’s engineer. Leading Class V and Class VI well permitting efforts with EPA and LDENR, including PE certification of permits.Developing plan and organization for operations of sequestration site during and after development including injection and PISC periods. Designing and implementing monitoring plan for in well and surface monitoring of CO2 plume, groundwater, and environment.Spearheading comprehensive technical and environmental risk assessment for sequestration site, developed risk matrix and scoring, hosted and facilitated scoring workshops, developing bowtie diagrams for identified hazards. Owner of Corrective Action program including full analysis and diagram development of legacy wells in project area, categorizing wells, developing workover procedures for re-entry of insufficiently isolated wells, estimating costs, and undertaking risk based area of review work to estimate potential leakage or negative impacts of legacy wells in project area. Regular presentations for education and outreach both internally at AP and externally at conferences, partner meetings, and public outreach. Developed products and technical language for outreach efforts. For Class VI Permitting of LCEC project, developed Summary of Requirements, QASP, Emergency & Remedial Response, Financial Responsibility, PISC SC, Pre-Op Testing plans and UIC 60 forms. Collaborated on producing Narrative, AOR and Corrective Action Plan, Testing and Monitoring Plan, Construction Details, and Plugging Plan. Achieved shortest time from submittal to Admin Complete.Owner of relationship with regulatory agencies related to Class V and Class VI well permitting.Collaborate with Treasury and Corporate Insurance groups to identify needs and secure products for financial security and insurance for wells and sequestration site.
