I am a junior at Penn State University, starting to extend my interests and skills in the Wildlife industry. As a Wildlife and Fisheries major, I am in love with the concept of the environment and its inhabitants. How do so many species in an environment, depend on one singular species for survival? How does one species thrive in one area, but not in another? I am involved in my Wildlife courses at Penn State and am an active member of the Wildlife Society School Chapter. I participate in the bird banding course that Penn State offers, increasing my bird handling and identification skills. While enrolled as a college student, my identification skills have significantly increased for Pennsylvania birds, mammals, herbs, and fish as well as for Pennsylvania trees and wetland plants. I hope to peak future employers' interests with my skills and good work ethic to eventually further my career path into the field of Wildlife and Fisheries.
