I'm an aspiring author, currently publishing to "Fictionate.me" and promoting material via Patreon, Discord, and Facebook. This means my writing is always being improved upon, and I consider jobs that allow me to grow those skills further to be invaluable assets. As my writing often incorporates factual elements such as taxonomy, medical terms, or even how to lay a 10x10 concrete slab, I always strive to keep my knowledge up to date and excel at research.During my first years with Labette Community College, I was a part of Phi Theta Kappa and graduated with that honor in 2018.In high school, I was a member of the National Forensics League, and qualified to compete at the state level twice for poetry and prose reading. My rankings during local tournaments were fairly consistent around the top 3 for reading events, top 5 for speaking events, and top 10 in improvisation and acting events. My writing has always been well-received by instructors and typically earned a B or higher. In high school, I told my English teacher that I didn't like how my current research project looked and that I would redo the bulk - despite skepticism, I was able to complete the project and turn it in for an A and earned her respect and accolade in the process. This showed me at a young age, that I can complete things in a short amount of time as long as I am well-prepared.
