  To organise and manage resource based services including library services, open access computer centre and to co-ordinate i.t. support for the services. Supervise LRC assistants in the computer centre and arrange in house training for information technology. Liaise with computer support regarding all administrate routine procedures including student registration, log-Ins and changing passwords. Conduct regular monitoring of the centres services in various formats, general feedback, student surveys and student forums. Provide initial support for computer hardware and software queries and refer to computer support when required. Ensure suitable facilities and support is available for supported learning students. Line manage of two positions within the LRC and organise and over sea work experience placements.More general responsibilities within the college include helping with the enrolment procedures, exam invigilation and taking an active interest in student activities which over the years have included stewarding students overseas, concert trips and helping public services on their annual camping trips as female member of staff.
