Am Subject Leader for A' Level Film and Media Studies - ensuring the schemes of work and curriculum delivery enable students to succeed. In this role, I set up opportunities for students to gain practical experience such as working with professionals in the Media. Students have taken part in film projects and won regional and national awards. I also teach English and deputise for the Head of Faculty.

Responsible for KS3 and KS4 English delivery at the school and KS4 Media Studies. I was also the Literacy Co-coordinator at the school. I managed a team of six teachers and mentored trainee teachers.

Worked with ten other teachers to set up a brand new Community School. Had responsibility for the delivery of English and Drama and whole school literacy. I was also a Teacher Governor at the school and was heavily involved in planning the new school.

Subject Leader for Media Studies. I taught English and had responsibility for the delivery of GCSE Media Studies and A' Level Media Studies at KS5. We never had a grade below C for our large classes. It was a very popular subject. I was also the Duke of Edinburgh's Award coordinator. I introduced the Duke of Edinburgh's Award provision to the school and set up a Dry SkI Slope club and climbing and sailing clubs. I regularly took the students on expeditions.

Undertook temporary work assignments temping in advertising agencies :conducting filing and administrative tasks.
