I am a high performing registered nurse with 24 years of experience with an emphasis in cardiac patient care and coaching. I excel in identifying areas for process improvement and developing solutions. Additionally, I seek out opportunities to create connection and improve communication among my peers. Currently, I lead coordination and improvement of the Phase 1 cardiac rehabilitation process and heart failure education, as well as coordinate patient care and education in Phase 2 cardiac rehabilitation. As co-chair of the unit practice council, I am engaged in work place initiatives centered on patient education improvement, evidence based process improvement, and employee retention. Additionally, I developed and lead a course for cardiac rehabilitaiton staff based on the Enneagram to improve communication and conflict resolution skills.I am looking for a growth opportunity and have recently completed the Aspiriing Leaders Program and communication skills courses through organizational development.
