As Executive Director of EAS, I am responsible for the overall management, vision, direction and profitability of the Engineering and Architectural Services Department (EAS) for Kitchell. I direct external sales, marketing and business development efforts for EAS. I ensure construction management activities are supported and company standards and values are maintained throughout the Department. I also directs, lead and accountable for all Department efforts.

As EAS Department Director, I establish and enforce the operation standards for the financial success, business development, risk management and product quality of the multi-disciplinary the Engineering & Architectural Services (EAS) Department for Kitchell. I evaluate the results of the department's operations regularly and systematically. I actively contribute to the department's business development efforts including lead generation, preparation of technical proposals and presentations. I also build and maintain business partner relationships. In addition, I also guide and direct project managers in development, production, and financial aspects of the department's operations. I consult with and coach employees on projects dealing with the most major and complex design, site, budget or scheduling issues.

As EAS Operations Manager I managed the overall department's day-to-day operations. I contributed to the growth and profitability of the EAS Department through leadership, marketing, managing and participating in projects to meet planned objectives. I reviewed the work of 20+ architects and engineers to ensure level of quality meets Kitchell's standards prior to submission to the client. I participated as a mechanical engineer in design, design reviews, value engineering, assessments and commissioning on various projects. I also participated in the development and implementation of the department's annual business plan. I developed and evaluated departmental procedures to maximize overall efficiencies.
