Creating wireframes and prototypes to improve the accessibility and usability of the existing app as well as crafting new features, from initial sketches through final prototypes.

As the Operations Manager for a mid-sized architecture firm, I spent about half my time on business operations and the other half on project work. I managed various financial and human resource tasks as well as:• Used principles of data visualization to present financial information in a way that made sense for non-finance people.• Researched, edited photos, and created layouts for presentations.• Handled all Graphic Design for firm, including creating style guides, business cards, posters, postcards, etc.

As part of a 3-person team, I redesigned the Brooks Running “Running Tips” blog. -Researched, prototyped, and iterated on ideas to incorporate feedback.-Clients responded favorably to both the discoveries I made in my research as well as my solutions on key components.

This role introduced me to the tech industry and basic concepts of web design. While there, I got an introduction to HTML and CSS as well as:-Rewrote the employee handbook.-Created an onboarding procedure and managed the hiring process.-Coordinated speakers, venues, and food for the Seattle JS Meetup.

I enjoyed my time planning exciting lessons, adjusting curriculum or finding new curriculum based on age-appropriateness, managing little ones, and mc'ing school-wide events.

After gaining experience with the GrapeSeed curriculum as a teacher at the GrapeSeed Korea pilot school, I joined the GrapeSeed team as a teacher trainer. I was responsible for leading groups of teachers through interactive workshops as a co-leader of training events and explaining complex linguistic reasoning in simplified terms. I also traveled to different areas of Korea and visited teachers at schools to give assistance, demonstrations, and feedback. Just as I was hitting my stride and leading entire teacher-training events by myself, we unfortunately ran into visa complications and I was unable to continue working with GrapeSeed.

As both a kindergarten and a middle school teacher, I planned classes to maximize the use of the GrapeSeed curriculum and hold the interest of the children in my care. I also played a key role in planning and executing school-wide events.
