My role is to lead a highly visible specialist function within the People & Development Division, providing both leadership and strategic direction on the design and development of all Force wide recruitment and selection approaches and initiatives. This includes responsibility for the strategic direction of the Positive Action Team and the accountability for delivering positive Equality and Diversity outcomes across Police Scotland and SPA recruitment I also have responsibility for the strategic direction of the Force National Policing Promotion Process including the design, development and implementation of the framework along with delivery of the national end to end process. I also have responsibility for the management and allocation of resources across the Force and work closely with the Head of Strategic Workforce Planning to ensure the organisation is resourced to best meet the need and the demand of the communities across Scotland.
