Our mission is to show leadership, stewardship, and philanthropy in the Vancouver community through support of Vancouver Opera. 2012 marked the 10th year of the Amatori dell'Opera ("lovers of opera"), a group of individuals who have made the decision to leave a legacy to VO. the 6th Annual Volunteers in the Arts Conference – ReBirth and ReBrand for Success & Sustainability, with special attention to “Engaging Young People in Arts & Culture” was a day not to be missed! Held on Saturday, February 19, 2011at the Museum of Vancouver 1100 Chestnut Street, Vancouver, BC - almost 100 volunteers attended. The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art is downtown Vancouver’s public art gallery named after the acclaimed Haida artist Bill Reid (1920 – 1998). The Gallery is dedicated to understanding and appreciating contemporary Aboriginal art of the Northwest Coast of North America.
