Responsible for overseeing the event scheduling and resource coordination function for approximately 11,500 reservations of varying complexity on campus; Develop and interpret policies, practices and procedures related to facility use and event planning and execution in response to on-campus and off-campus inquiries; Monitor event scheduling and production budget; Provide leadership to coordinate efforts to deliver continuous and sustainable improvement in the planning and delivery of events support; Act as Campus Administrator for EMS system applications.

Orlando, Florida Area

Manage the planning, execution and supervision of assigned conventions to include sales, negotiations and conflict resolution (Average of 20 groups per year with attendance of 500-3,000); Communicate all group specifications and history to the appropriate operational departments via contract addendums, group resumes, and event orders; Accurately forecast group revenues; Ensure proper use of function space, exhibit hall and overall event space; Oversee contracted group room blocks; Host Planning Meetings, Site Inspections, Pre-Convention Meetings; Ensure client satisfaction through the smooth execution of all assigned conventions

Orlando, Florida Area

Manage and coordinate catering and conference services activities associated with planning, supervising and executing functions and events for executive meeting and tour groups. Plan and develop programs, agendas, and services according to client requirements. Manage group room blocks and coordinate the collection of attrition for executive meetings groups with Reservations and Accounting. Develop and distribute all communications relating to the planning and execution of group functions, including, group resumes, banquet event orders (BEO’s) and room sets. Provide accurate group revenue and expense forecasts according to established guidelines. Customize menus and budgets as needed, for each assigned group.

Delhi, New York

Responsible for scheduling all functions in the Hospitality Center and for function coordination. Keep records of maintenance and maintain building integrity. Maintain all records for Hospitality Management accounts and purchase items for functions and special projects. Qualify leads and market services to prospective clients. Serve as Editor for the Hospitality Management Department’s Newsletter.

Responsible for staffing and supervising Front Desk Agents, PBX Operators, Bellstaff and Concierge. Manage and maintain standards of performance, training of new associates, payroll and scheduling and ensure that customers are provided with top-notch service and handle customer service related issues.
