Within this position my responsibilities include: -Run & Manage Import team of 50+ individuals -Help build and maintain Import Transportation processes -Guide and support team on issues relating to Import Transportation, Import Brokerage, and Customs Compliance. -Handle all HR related issues -Help manage Import P&L -Drive and lead training and development initiatives for the Import team around processes, day to day responsibilities, and leadership training. -Provide career development and coaching support for the Import Department.

Within this position my responsibilities are as followed: • Manages a team of eleven employees under the Brokerage Operations Division. • Responsible for managing PTO and Annual Reviews within the Brokerage Team.• Holds weekly team meetings to ensure open communication and deliverables are being met.• Conducts annual performance reviews for direct reports.• Works cross functionally with other departments to deliver high level of service to customers. • In charge of implementing and running dashboards in CargoWise • Runs daily reports such as the Unbilled Report to manage the department’s P&L• Develops training material and trains all new employees across multiple departments.• Files and submits ISF

Transmit Entries, dispatch shipments, invoice customers.

Customer Service, Import Ocean and Air. Handled FCL, LCL, Consoles, and AGR desk.
