About Heather Cox

Hard worker and I will never turn down a chance to learn something new. When I fail I will continue until I get it right. I hate being bored so I like fast moving environments where day to day is new. I'd say my problem is that since my current position allows me to wear many hats so to speak I would hate to just have one duty or job. I like to use my brain! Looking for the perfect niche.

    The office is a privately owned rheumatology office with the doctor and myself as full time. We have a nurse who does all the claims and billing as well as administer IV treatments. I do all front office and take vitals and draw blood. I also take care of referrals with insurance as well as prior authorizations. As far as making sure we have all things necessary in office or ordered. Since it is a small office I also double as a assistant for my boss, like finding boat parts or plane tickets. I am never bored or tired of this place, something interesting is always happening.

    He was very meticulous. But fun. He always had a stickey note with what needed to be done that day. I set up appointments for basic meets and depositions. Kept his schedule and typed upall needed legal documents. He was a man who enjoyed a "stiff drink" at noon... That meant he left his plain Lipton tea bag in the cup to steep a bit longer. Very fun experience
