My career journey has been one full of discovery. From experience in admin and finance to event planning and marketing communications, I have taken the time to explore what makes me excited in my day-to-day work. I have found joy in combining my creative mind with my project development mind. I look forward to the challenges of developing a strategy for success and continuing to learn something new every day. My inquisitive nature allows me to be comfortable connecting pieces of information into a bigger picture. Recently my professional interests are focused on Digital Marketing, playing with the levers of social advertising, website content creation, and more. My content focus recently has been on material sustainability along the supply chain and across markets. I believe greenwashing can be avoided when marketers take on the responsibility to understand sustainability initiatives and communicate using data first. As a communications professional I am committed to brand awareness, culture advocacy, communicating with transparency, and challenging myself to think strategically instead of tactically. I value the “why?” more than the “what?” when communicating. When I break away from the words on my laptop, I can be found mastering puzzles of 1000 pieces or more, spelunking through old antique shops with friends, and traveling to random parts of the world on the next affordable flight I found.
