As a rotational intern at Western & Southern Financial Group, I have the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to different functions and departments within the internal audit, treasury, and accounting departments. I apply my academic knowledge and skills in accounting and finance to support various projects and tasks, such as preparing reports, conducting analysis, and performing audits. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University, with a major in accounting and finance. I have also earned multiple certifications in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from McGraw Hill and Cengage, demonstrating my proficiency in these tools.Additionally, I have a passion for financial literacy education. In my previous role at the Center for Economic Education in the Haile College of Business, I organized workshops, events, resources, and funding for students and faculty. I am eager to learn from the experienced professionals at Western & Southern and contribute to their mission of providing financial security and peace of mind to their clients. I am also interested in exploring different career paths and opportunities in the accounting and financial services industry, and developing my competencies in areas such as analysis, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.
