Assists with the development of Credit staff and administers performance reviews.• Analyzes conditions resulting in credit lines to be exceeded or payments to be overdue and exercises good judgement in authorizing special credit arrangements and payment schedules. Arranges for collections through collection agencies in accordance with terms and conditions of sale. Monitors status of accounts placed with collection agencies and recommends appropriate actions, e.g. whether to write-off account or pursue litigation.• Authority to review and approve all credit limits up to $500,000 using sound credit judgement supported by a credit investigation. Communicates regularly with agencies outside of the company such as customers, banks, brokers and credit agencies to determine credit worthiness, obtain additional information on customer accounts to determine status of accounts.• Trains or orients new and existing employees to systems and/or new upgrades and system integrations.
