I have studied social sciences at college for four years, then deciding that psychology was the direction I wanted to go towards; to then progressing and completing bachelor of science with honours in psychology. Through my years of further education, there has been many different modules which has taken my interest, such as counselling, advanced cognition and child development. However, having had the opportunity to cover varied topics, I have an understanding of physiological, emotional, cognitive and social determinants of behaviour. Alongside the various disciplines within psychology, and the major theories and history of psychology. Having familiarity and experience with the psychological research methods, including data collection and analysis, and the knowledge of appropriate research ethics. In coexistence with the topics in which has been covered though my years in university and college, I have also displayed key components of psychology, such as (but not limited to) research, observation, academic writing, critical thinking, analytical skills, problem solving, active learning, goal setting and prioritising. The qualities I have are many and varied, including an ability to work hard under pressure, a desire to provide a quality service, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient/ customer care. I am a hard worker, and someone who enjoys working as part of a team to achieve a common goal, and equally achieve goals solo. I am a compassionate person who believes that everyone should receive the same level of treatment and the same quality service, regardless of who they are. I can also be trusted with confidential information. Finally, I am a loyal and committed person who will work hard to learn the role quickly with a view to carrying out my role with consistency, professionalism.I am an enthusiastic and highly organised individual. Always reliable and punctual, with a flexible approach to working hours. Cheerful and friendly nature with good communication and people skills; showing strong communication, with both children and adults. Always willing to learn and further my knowledge, especially in areas in which are weaker topics. Currently working in retail, however just completing my honours degree, I am ready to continue my journey into a career.

  Started as a weekend person, and now I’m entrusted with the general running of the shop day to day, and management of the team, and duties. Responsible for the shop to make the deadline for tasks, and the delegation of the tasks. Keeping on top of staff training, and running fire safety drills. One major responsibility in which I solely am reliable for, is the weekly cash and safe balance. Trusted with the building security, and stock within as a key holder, opening and closing the shop; also an emergency call contact. Also a willing candidate when called upon to help in other branches when needed.
