With over two decades of immersing myself in the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska, I've cultivated a deep-rooted love for this extraordinary state. I'm proud to contribute to its thriving tourism industry as the Senior Passenger Sales Account Executive at the Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC). I was fortunate to find my calling in the tourism industry the summer of 1997. My current role as the Alaska Railroad’s (ARRC) Senior Passenger Sales Account Executive involves extensive travel across the globe. I work diligently to promote Alaska as a year-round destination, educating and inspiring tour operators, wholesalers, and travel advisors on the Alaska Railroad - With nearly 500 miles of track connecting Southcentral and Interior Alaska, the Railbelt offers unparalleled access to stunning scenery, wildlife, and cultural heritage - catering to both the leisure and adventure rail traveler niche markets.Beyond my travel commitments, I contribute to the strategic direction of the ARRC through sales strategy development, budgeting, trade event planning, policy development, pricing, charter operations, and product design.My career has spanned various roles within the industry, including positions at the Alaska Travel Industry Association, Alaska Wildland Adventures, and the Susitna Place B&B. This diverse experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the tourism ecosystem, from destination marketing and sales, to tour operations.I'm actively involved in shaping the future of Alaska tourism through my service on the Alaska Travel Industry Association and Matanuska Susitna Convention & Visitors Board of Directors. As Chair of the Alaska Travel Industry Association's Trade & International Sub-committee, I'm committed to fostering strong partnerships with travel professionals on a global level. I'm well rounded when it comes to sales, marketing and public relations within the transportation and tourism industries, thanks to a wealth of experience and amazing mentors.
