As a Veteran of the US NAVY, College Graduate, and former business owner, who now starts fresh as a fully trained IT Network Engineer/Systems Admin, one could guess that I am an adaptable, experienced, unique individual with insatiable curiousity, and one would be right. Even as a child I was driven to understand how things tick and work together and what are the subtle factors that jam things up, and what factors are similar or across the board vs unique to that field/problem.With this analytical mind, I enjoy solving problems which serves me well in the field of IT and I am glad to have made my way into this world. I can now bypass the frustration I once encountered facing a new and daunting trouble ticket, and instead enjoy the challenge and the subsequent satisfaction of figuring it out.On a character level, its intrinsically important to do my job well and to do it respectfully, and with integrity. If someone has an issue I am happy to help and will never roll my eyes or feel put out because someone dared bring an opportunity to do my job. I understand that in an organization everyone has their piece of the puzzle and unique talent they bring to the mission and it makes me feel good to be capable doing what I can to help others be free to do what they do best. As far as integrity goes, half that battle is choosing a company that operates committed to its values and upon finding that I will bring the same No amount of money, perks, or status is worth losing trustworthiness. Especially in IT.Im certain that with any company there will be things I have not yet learned, but I guarantee I know how to learn and can become rapidly functional. But I wont stop there. I will continue to deepen my understanding throughout my time there. Its not like me to find a quick fix shortcut to get through and then consider it settled. I want to improve always in efficiency, accuracy, and thoroughness.
