About Heather Eager
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 with my bachelor's degree in Psychology. After a couple of years furthering my education through higher level courses, I applied to the Oklahoma City Community College to begin my dream career within the field of occupational therapy. I graduated in 2016 with my applied sciences degree and began my career as a certified occupational therapy assistant. I have worked as a COTA/L for five years within the pediatric field at both outpatient and inpatient facilities. I have developed and fine tuned skills such as patience, flexibility, and creativity. In 2019, I made the decision to further my educational career and was accepted to the Cabarrus College of Health and Sciences for their bridge mater's of occupational therapy program. I graduated in August of 2021. I now work as an occupational therapist full time at the JD McCarty Center and do contract work with Therapy Link Solutions.
