Currently in solo private practice with a focus on high functioning professional adults. I have spent the past decade in private practice with the first six of those years being the clinical director of a large group practice in LA. As clinical director I was responsible for staff hiring and retention, marketing and budgeting, spearheading growth and direction of the practice, and networking with community referral sources. A tremendous growth in size, scale, and income was achieved in my years of leadership.I have a wide range of experience having worked five years in community mental health, three years in substance abuse, and in three states across the country. My experience includes facilitating trauma groups, individual, couple's and family therapy, and psychoeducational groups throughout community and private practice.My organizational and documentation skills have often led to being asked to be part of internal QA teams as well as being placed in a position of leadership/mentorship with new hires and interns. I supervised Master's level interns for four years in my director role. Documentation skills, both compliance and timeliness, are strong assets of mine and not dependent on caseload size or additional responsibilities.I am now in a position to manage a virtual practice that allows me to work with clients across the states of Michigan and Louisiana. I am in network with most commercial insurances in Michigan. I excel at building relationships with my clients that often last for years. I am thankful to have minimal marketing efforts as word of mouth referrals have always come steadily. Although I am content to remain in my solo practice, I am always open to consultation and opportunities that may benefit my community.
