I also was responsible for a group of students who were unable to focus and succeed in the regular classroom. This experience provided me with valuable classroom management experience which I have used since becoming a teacher, though at the time becoming a teacher was not part of my career plan.One of the students I worked with, went from failing his science course to getting an 80% on his final exam. The teacher and I were ecstatic and thrilled for the student.
