Also supporting technology and innovation programme on alternative fuels on HGVs, Buses and Natural Capital.• Delivery and management of Regional EV Infrastructure Full Business Case for 2023 which has resulted in fourteen local transport authorities (LTA) coming together as a three consortiums.• Management of £40 million grant capital for 14 LTA’s Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) Scheme with Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) to deliver four consortiums totalling total £150 million capex for LTAs to deliver over 15,000 quality EV chargepoints in the Midlands• Developing project briefs to support regional strategic transport plan• Developing tailored workshops, councillor/ leadership, business and community event support. and working with partners to gather better data and market research, to inform projects.• Management of England’s STB EV group, EV procurement/tender support experience.• Public speaker and management of EV conference management• Providing input and advice on the continual improvement of EV infrastructure planning tool• Supporting development of regional Centre of Excellence programme (DfT).

Supporting the Midlands Local Authorities (LA) on decarbonising transport as part of a Department for Transport (DfT) funded programme, providing local advise/support on transport action plan/strategy, community engagement, councillor workshops and procurement reviews. Whilst leading England EV public officer forums on behalf of Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), developed LA EVI guidance notes and creating regional infrastructure partnership with net zero hubs (DESNZ), NHS, DNO, Zemo, Innovate KTN.

Leading sustainability cultural change through development and positive implementation of council’s new Environmental Management System to achieve ISO 14001: 2015 compliance, including Management of Corporate Sustainability Group (incl. staff travel & biodiversity groups) and Internal EMS auditor Team. The creation of the district’s first Climate and Environment Strategy, including costed action plan (scope 1-3 decarbonisation pathway ), EV infrastructure plan and team leader of Climate and Environment Officer. Ensure compliance to Environmental Permitting Regulations, Planning Regulations (Environmental health planning consultee), Environmental district nuisance and any emergency support, as required (flooding, filthy and verminous housing, dangerous housing etc).

Managing team, to achieve environmental compliance across gas sites across the East of England (MRP, MOBs, connections, Diversions/ Reinstatement and complex works). Lead on development of tRIIO’s Sustainability Strategy 2019-2025, internal environmental training, managing Environment Management System (ISO 14001), including undertaking Duty of Care audits and inspections.

Main environmental officer in SHE team. Providing sustainability support (ISO 14001, 50001 and 45001), deliver coaching, whilst overseeing compliance for 46 sites for the Minerals industry in England & North Wales (Cement, Aggregates, Asphalt, Concrete and Contracting). Core UK support for Contracting and Aggregates team across the UK for safety and environmental compliance.

Providing Environmental and Energy support, whilst overseeing compliance across 170 sites the minerals industry in England and Wales (Contracting, Ready Mix, Aggregates (incl. recycling and inert landfill sites), Asphalt and Building Products. Core support for contracting division (highways, construction and civils) across UK and help them to achieve first certification to ISO 14001.

Providing SHEQS support for Electrical Overhead Line (OHL) Business delivering National Grid projects. Developed project KPIs, onsite and advisory support, training, management of IMS, site audits, permits, analysing data, board reports, SHEQS investigations and client management.
