Assigned Assets: Westfield Topanga & The Village; Combined Annual Sales $1BWestfield Topanga includes 361 stores with a total of 1.6M SF of leasable space. This project was a re-merchandising initiative of the bifurcated operating center and redevelopment project of the former SEARS box which transitioned to Topanga Social, 24 of Los Angeles’ most talked about and celebrated niche food brands, on the lower level, a plethora of luxury retailers to include a first-to-market Hermes and the area’s first Pinstripes on the second level, as well as a brand new 12-screen AMC Theater on the third level.Westfield The Village was recently sold to the Rams’ Owner Stan Kroenke. This asset is an outdoor shopping and entertainment venue with numerous restaurants and eateries as well as medical, daily needs and apparel concepts to total 600,000 sf of leasable space.Primary Objective: Developing Merchandising Plans for the Operating Center as well as the expansion of Westfield Topanga, Implementing the approved Merchandising Plans via new business as well as renewals as appropriate, Accurate Budgeting of permanent inline space, the Lease-up of inline vacancies, Surpassing Budget Expectations.Responsibilities included:• The Permanent Leasing of Vacant inline and Kiosk retail space, Lease Renewals, Retail Merchandising,Budgeting and Forecasting, Cultivating National/Regional/Local Retailer and Broker Relationships,Market Canvassing, Identifying New Retailers and Trends.• Collaboration with multiple disciplines and professionals to implement a high-end re-developmentproject of $300M in Landlord expense.
