Strategic, multidisciplinary employee benefits consultant with a working knowledge of managing employer’s risks. I’ve worked with a gamut of clients (blue-collar, medical professionals, law firms, and large and small companies). Although my skill set is vast, my greatest expertise revolves around the world of employee benefits, human resource management systems, and state and federal compliance (including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and PPACA). My wish is to combine my knowledge and experience in these areas, to deliver a comprehensive business plan for each client to navigate the ever-changing world of employee benefits, make sure that the client is kept abreast of compliance mandates and requirements as it relates to their specific company; while providing communication to their employees thru education and interaction. These practices have allowed me to develop a strong professional following of business owners, human resource professionals, management teams, and their employees.Since 1996, I have worked in health insurance, benefit consulting, and risk management. Having served as President of the Triad Association of Health Underwriters 2010-2011 and an active member of the organization since 1996, I have worked alongside others in this field to represent the industry and concerns on a local, state, and national level. To better serve my clients I am certified in both ACA and Self-Funding. Greensboro is home for me, my husband, Pat, and two awesome kids, Connor and Lilly.
