I am a hard-working individual who graduated from Augustana College in May 2016 with a degree in Elementary Education. I have had many great experiences in an educational setting and working with children. I have spent eight summers working at Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois summer camps. Throughout these six years, I have had several different positions, ranging from a Kitchen Assistant (1 year), Counselor (3 years), Assistant Camp Director/Program Director (1 year), Assistant Camp Director (2 years), and Camp Director (1 year).In addition, I spent time volunteering at Highland Grade School during my junior and senior years of high school, as well as an after-school program at Longfellow Liberal Arts School during my junior year at Augustana. As a part of Augustana's Education program, I spent time in several classrooms since March 2014. Furthermore, I completed my student teaching in a third grade classroom at Rock Island Center for Math and Science in the winter of the 2015-2016 school year. I have been teaching first grade at Prophetstown Elementary School since August 2016.
