Ph.D student in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies at the University of New Hampshire alongside Dr. Russell Congalton. My research investigated the use of UAS for measuring and mapping changes in forest structure and composition at the forest edge using unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This research was accomplished accomplished through photogrammetric processing of UAS imagery into point clouds, multi-temporal, object-based classifications of very-high resolution UAS orthomosaics, and ground sampling of forest edge environments.
