I currently lead and direct a team of 30 and handle program management in Canada and the US budgeted at $150 million annually. I set direction, timing, build/integration, shipment with responsibility for the P&L for US projects. I managed manufacturing, safety, inventory control, and process implementation at a 120,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant and 80,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant. I led a team of 115, directed daily operations, and gave direction and leadership to employees and managers. We have been able to reduce recordable injuries by implementing plant-wide World Class Manufacturing processes and safe operating procedures employing nine box risk assessment rating severity, probability, and controls. I’ve also worked to improve the teardown and shipping efficiency of an automated robotic cell by developing a standardized process to sequence the shipping of tools in the precise order they were to be reconstructed at the assembly plant.

I drove the EHS process through World Class Manufacturing and advised plant leadership of scope, purpose, and impact on plant operations. I ensured new paint and body shops for the launch of the Chrysler 200 complied with federal, state, and local regulations, and corporate policies and procedures. I implemented EHS training programs and assessments. I audited EHS processes and followed up to ensure compliance and properly advised plant leadership and corporate EHS staff. We achieved the World Class Manufacturing Audit First Safety Pillar Score of 3 in N. America through strict adherence to safety processes.

I reported to the Vice President of Manufacturing, who was responsible for seven vehicle assembly plants encompassing 22,000 people, 7,000 vehicles a day. I managed scheduling for all World Class Manufacturing activities as Assembly Lead and worked with internal teams to manage salary manpower to maintain cost goals. I built strong relationships with the senior leadership, simplified complex issues, and presented solutions to C-suite. I achieved our divisional goals for safety, quality, and costs by working with stakeholders who were not direct reports.
