Technical Assistance Coordinator
Current- Provide on-site training and technical assistance to child care programs in an 27 county region, (primarily in 4 metro-Atlanta counties) with an emphasis on promoting best practices through national accreditation.
- Evaluate child care programs by conducting classroom assessments using the Environmental Rating Scale-Revised or national accrediting program assessment tool
- Work with providers to prepare a comprehensive plan of action which outlines program goals
- Develop, prepare and present Bright From the Start, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, approved trainings based on identified community needs
- Maintain accurate records of activities according to agency policies and procedures in order to complete and submit monthly reports
- Offer career counseling to child care professionals interested in on-going professional development opportunities
