Technical Assistance Coordinator
Current•Provide on-site training and technical assistance to child care programs in an 27 county region, (primarily in 4 metro-Atlanta counties) with an emphasis on promoting best practices through national accreditation program standards•Evaluate child care programs by conducting classroom assessments using the Environmental Rating Scale-Revised or national accrediting program assessment tool •Work with providers to prepare a comprehensive plan of action which outlines program goals •Develop, prepare and present Bright From the Start, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, approved trainings based on identified community needs •Maintain accurate records of activities according to agency policies and procedures in order to complete and submit monthly reports •Offer career counseling to child care professionals interested in on-going professional development opportunities•Demonstrate initiative by conducting duties of position from a home-based environment
